Pete, you have the patience of a saint.

Why do Gadge and Scaley constantly bring up these issues? We have no problem with it at all!!

Like Chommers says, we did the Gunman thing years ago, decided it wasn't for us and move on (and up), as did most of the CiA forum members who don't like the style of play.

Why they think they can get anywhere with DC is beyond me. Christ, just look at the level of disgust at their behaviour from our moderator team. Which bring me onto his comments about us deleting threads. What's he on about? We deleted the POW one to preserve what scraps of Gadge's rep were left and because it made no sense after he'd gone in and edited it all out.

Nige isn't a clear thinker, that's for sure!

He obviously doesn't know CiA co-organised Josh's first WW2 event nor that we ran the German side for him on the second. I'm afraid Nige is very late into the party and has no idea of what has gone on before he turned up in his 101st kit!

Pete, you have the patience of a saint.

 First time I've ever been told that! I'm just trying to be as neutral as I can, even though I really want to tell him to f**k off and get a grip!

Unfortunately, Niges' idea of the truth is distorted by what gadge tells him and by what he chooses to believe if it suits him and, his own perception of being a victim of CiA muscle flexing. In short, he's a dickhead.

Seconded!

Oh, and the moderator team universally condemned Gadge for his 'Scotland' episode including his co-organisers Evo & Rich!
AND Gadge asked for that thread to be removed and PBI member Ramsay did the deed!

Quoth Josh about his Sennybridge sisk:

I must make this clear as I wouldn't want guys shelling out money for an experience they didnt expect, Gunman runs very high quality ww2 airsoft NOT ww2 reenactment weekends using airsoft.

WTF is that supposed to mean?

To be fair to Josh he is making it clear this is a SISK - its good that he is making it clear. It isn't a swipe at us or PBI!

True. Actually he's moved in a different direction with things now hasn't he? Firmly marketing to the SISKers and not our regulars.

I notice Del's made a cheeky post on that thread. I can't imagine he's going to play, so I've PMd him to find out what he's up to. :giggle:

I think Del's just having a little poke at josh and his sisk mentality.

Trawling user posts, I've noticed Evo is making a Mosin Nagant. What's that all about, if he can't make it to Boryszyn? Scaley hasn't replied to my last pm to him, I assume he's talking to gadge, to ask what he should say! :ghey:

Yes, he is. And apparently Wraith666 is asking question on his behalf now!

Evo was well up for the Boryszyn event but couldn't make it. I think it's house moving and other things. He has a full Russian loadout that he's yet to use.

This is why I predict a PBI Ruskie event soon.

Just had a looooong phone conversation with Scaley. At least he had the balls to phone me! I set the record straight with him about gadges' teddy throwing and a few other things, including why I left PBI. He seemed surprised at some of my words, so it's obvious he's only heard gadges' versions of events.

Strangely, he was pleading poverty again, yet moaning about his kids arguing over "Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2", which they had just got! Also told me he has "zero interest" in the Russian Front and that PBI are planning a weekender for next year, although he didn't say when. He made his points about UCAP and gunman and I agreed that as he hasn't experienced either before, he needs to try them before he can have an opinion on them. He also mentioned that gadge has played the "AI card" with josh in order to blag a PBI group discount for Caen, in exchange partly for a review of the game in AI.

For my part, I reiterated that the talk of "rifts" needs to stop at their source, ie, gadge. I also pointed out that gadge is an attention seeker, always needing approval and adoration and that it's his ego that causes 99% of any problems (I didn't pull my punches!). I also mentioned that any "bridge building" time would be far more productively spent by PBI actually using their section on the CiA forum and by not constantly referring to their games as the dogs bollocks of realism.

:good:

Ah, another 'review' from an independent and unbiased reporter! Hardly review, more page filler! :giggle:

Is it ethically acceptable to pay in-kind for a review???

Mind you, we've invited Stuart FOC....

Scaley said josh had very generously knocked a tenner of the green fee for PBI members. I pointed out that they'd be lucky to get much more than six hours gaming for their money.

Somehow, I dont quite believe that. Ai is on Josh's shitlist - big time (mostly, it must be said due to Monaf's gob). What has most likely happened is that Josh is smarter than Gadge and realises that a group discount of a tenner a head means he'll make more money by having a larger number of players, even if he is making a tenner less per punter. Walmart technique applied to Airsoft really.

As to payment in-kind for reviews, that troubles me somewhat. I've done two site reviews in 5 years (fucking hell, thats a long time) Both times I had to almost throw the money at the site operators to get the buggers to take it. I may be a cunt most of the time (alright, 99% of the time) but i dont believe people should be able to buy a review.

Can you do a 'review' of our Russian game please Jay? Or we'll write it together. Under a nom de plume. Red Daniels perhaps... has a nice ring about it... Also give it to Stuart for publication if he doesn't come.

Looks like gadge is back to his (ab)normal self. Shit stirring on 101st's stupid SISK thread and by spamming up a load of cobblers about his 40K game. I was very close to pointing out that 40K is mostly played by spotty teenagers who don't know any girls and play 40K while they're resting between wanks but, I reigned myself in!-- attachment is not available --

Heh, tarpey put it well...

Reminds me of a time before girlfriends! :good:

In other words, grow up Gadge!

I have no idea why he is wasting his time on Tom though. Feck, let the lad get on with it, its not like Gadge will go to it.

Has anyone else noticed how Gadge keeps associating himself with CiA?

Only when it suits his needs for constant approval :ghey: . He bangs on about Arnhem quite a bit. Yet, he's also equally quick to push PBI when the need arises. I think he's plugged freshman to just about everyone!

I wonder how many wargaming forums he's posted his "write up" on as well? :giggle:-- attachment is not available --

What's the betting Gadge heads up a WW2 airsoft section on the 'son of' ASCUK forum when it emerges?
